Cilantro Lime Rice

Great for burritos, bowls, tacos, or just as a side.

  • 10 cups of jasmine rice
  • 12 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 3 additional limes squeezed
  • ¼ squeezed lemon
  • 2 cups cilantro
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 tbsp. pepper
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder


  1. Rinse rice
  2. Pour rice, ½ cup of oil and water into the Globe RC1 Rice Cooker and cook until the warm light comes on
  3. Combine salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  4. After cooking let the rice sit for 10-15 minutes then stir in the rest of the ingredients

NOTE: Always follow the water to rice ratio instructions on your rice cooker. If the rice is too dry add 1-2 cups of water, 1 tbsp. oil, and 1 tbsp. more lime juice, then cover for 5 minutes.
